Where and when?
From April 23 to 25, 2022, in Funchal on the island of Madeira, Portugal, the international conference on applied psychology and trends, InPACT, will take place.
Goal of the conference
To offer a fresh approach to discussing and presenting psychological science today. The expectation is engagement and exchange with authors and researchers from different countries, cultures, and fields in the region. Showcasing meaningful new developments in research and theoretical findings in applied psychology.
Several major areas have been chosen and divided into more detailed subtopics (see below), without ruling out other topics with innovative contributions that could be of value to attendees.
Topics during the conference
To shape the conference program, the organizers have chosen five main, broad categories within applied psychology, which also span various areas of interest:
Clinical psychology topics
Emotions and related psychological processes; Assessment; Psychotherapy and counseling; Addictive behavior; Eating disorders; Personality disorders; Quality of life and mental health; Communication within relationships; Mental health services; Psychopathology.
Educational psychology topics
Language and cognitive processes; School environments and child disorders; Parenting and parenting-related processes; Learning and technology; Psychology in schools; Intelligence and creativity; Motivation in the classroom; Perspectives on teaching; Assessment and evaluation; and Individual differences in learning.
Social psychology topics
Cross-cultural dimensions of mental disorders; Employment and training issues; Organizational psychology; Psychology in politics and international issues; Social factors in adolescence and its development; Social anxiety and self-esteem; Immigration and social policy; Self-efficacy and identity development; Parenting and social support; Addiction and stigmatization; Psychological and social impact of virtual networks.

Violence and trauma; Media and aggression; Domestic violence; Juvenile delinquency; Aggressive behavior in childhood; Internet offenses; Working with offenders; Forensic psychology; Violence risk assessment; Law enforcement and stress.
Cognitive and experimental psychology topics
