Dear parents — on February 17, please join us at the PARENTS' SCHOOL of the "Montessori Educational Center" Association. We'll cover a topic that matters greatly to every parent: "Screen time and the child's brain — the latest research."
We'll discuss the questions that our speaker, psychologist Katerina Chonova, has been seeking answers to in the most recent scientific research:

- What exactly happens to a child's brain at different stages of development if the child spends time in front of a TV, tablet, laptop, or smartphone screen?
- What are the warning signs that a child has had too much screen time?
- Are interactive digital games — the kind thought to build certain skills in children — actually risky?
- Up to what age is it strongly recommended not to buy your child a console game?
After the coffee break, the second part of the lecture continues the topic with answers to more questions:
- Is there a safe use of digital devices? And if so, what is the recommended daily duration?
- What happens to children's brains under gaming addiction?
- What therapies and which specialists in Bulgaria can we turn to if we identify a screen or gaming addiction?

The topic is suitable for parents and teachers of children of preschool and school age. Spaces are limited. Join us on Saturday, February 17 from 11 AM to 1 PM in the cozy hall of the Private Kindergarten "Montessori" in the Ovcha Kupel neighborhood of Sofia, at 3 Nov Vek St.
